2007 Safety Conference
February 13th, 14th and 15th  are the dates for the Chicago Construction Safety Council Safety Conference.  We are inviting local 701 members and contractors to attend this conference as a guest of the NECA & IBEW Local 701 LMCC office. The LMCC office will sponsor any one day of the conference for 701 members and for two representative from each Local 701 contractor. Registration forms are available at the Safety council website www.buildsafe.org .

OSHA required posting of 300 log
Contractors are required by law to post their summary  (OSHA 300A) log in a public place at each jobsite from February 1st to April 30th each year. Also by contract employers must send a copy of each accident report to the Safety Committee. Submitting the OSHA 300 a log fulfills the requirement that each accident must be reported to the Safety Committee. Reports may be FAXED to the LMCC office at 630-393-3497.  Questions may be directed to the LMCC office at 630-393-1701 extension #5. 

NFPA 70E
Classes are available for NFPA 70E training through the JATC office. Argonne National Laboratory requires all Electrical Contractor personnel to be trained in NFPA 70E.
