The NECA-IBEW 701 Labor Management Cooperation Committee has established an Incentives Program to promote membership participation in continuing education and other activities that are a benefit to them and the electrical industry.
Incentive points are awarded for participation in journeyman training classes, volunteer work in certain community activities, and attendance at various union functions.
Points are redeemed at the Local 701 store where there are tools, clothing, testing equipment, and other items available.
Points may also be redeemed at the Red Wing Shoe Store in Lombard at 1000-1 Rohlwing Road (Route 53 and Route 64) as well as the Red Wing Shoe Store in Downers Grove at 1707 West Ogden Avenue. Local 701 members are also eligible for a discount at these stores.
