Local 701 Signatory Contractors

An unlimited Wage and Fringe Benefit Bond is required in Local 701 jurisdiction, and the NECA-IBEW Local 701 LMCC has been able to provide this service at a very reasonable cost.  However, effective August 1, 2008, we will now require each signatory contractor to fill out a new bond application due to several changes in legal requirements and accounting standards.  

For your convenience, the new bond application can be downloaded from this website and we have hightlighted the areas on the form that need to be filled in completely.  As in the past, we do not require you to sign for personal indemnity, but the revised changes do require your permission to perform a credit check and to provide a secured interest for any wage and benefit indebtedness.  A notarized signature is also necessary on the application.

Please be advised the current LMCC bond premium is $350.00 for one year.  Make your check payable to the “Local 701 LMCC Fringe Bond Account”, and mail the application and payment directly to the LMCC office at the address below and not to the Local 701 Fringe Benefit lockbox in Chicago.  Please note only completed bond applications will be accepted.
